This is one of the most asked question we get.    Generally, clients wish to have their chairs fit when they push back from the table.     Here are the most common rug sizes based on number of chairs:

4 chair table— 6×9

6 chair table— 8×10

8 chair table— 9×12

We operate our own cleaning and repair facility.    Our expert staff are well versed in cleaning area rugs.    Whether a cherished antique or more recent acquisition, we offer the most experienced facility in the Northwest.     A general rule is to clean a carpet every 3-5 years; at that time it is also recommended that the padding be replaced.    A less trafficed living or dining room may go up to 7 years.    It is not a benefit to delay past that as dirt will permeate the pile and can abrasively wear the pile.
